The foot-ankle exerciser was developed for specifically exercising the muscles that control the ankle, sub-talar and mid-tarsal joints. This is a major portion of the entire lower leg that play a major role in balance and gait.

The Nautilus 2ST Hip Extension provides a focused challenge to the hip extensors throughout their full available range of motion while keeping my spine supported. This can be used as a purely output-oriented challenge to the hamstrings and glutes or as a step in progressing towards more integrated exercises.
