Cyber Classic Multi-Neck
The Cybex Classic Multi-Neck is a rare retro machine designed to safely and efficiently challenge the cervical muscles. The support and restraint mechanisms of this machine in addition to the duel CAM option is among the many reasons this machine is still arguably the best piece of equipment to strengthen this extremely important and often neglected area of the body.
Nautilus 2ST Hip Extension
The Nautilus 2ST Hip Extension provides a focused challenge to the hip extensors throughout their full available range of motion while keeping my spine supported. This can be used as a purely output-oriented challenge to the hamstrings and glutes or as a step in progressing towards more integrated exercises.
For a superior abdominal burn and to factor out the element of lower back discomfort, our Med X Abdominal features a patented bio-mechanical design that provides the highest possible degree of isolation for abdominal muscles. Our device neutralizes hip flexor muscles and restricts arching in the base of the spine, unlike other ab machines.
Medical research shows that the majority of patients with chronic spinal pain are significantly “deconditioned”. Weakness of the musculature of the spine can lead to many conditions such as herniated discs, facet syndrome, and degenerative joint disease. A strong spine provides a strong foundation that allows for healthy spaces between the vertebrae, which helps prevent spinal compression. To provide lasting relief from chronic neck and back pain, the spinal structures and supporting tissue must be actively reconditioned through isolated strengthening exercise. Until MedX developed the Lumbar Extension restraint system, there was never an effective way to isolate and strengthen the muscles of the spine. The goals of the MedX program include: Decrease pain levels Restore spinal function Improve quality of life and independence Decrease the need for on-going spinal care The Medx Lumbar Extension Machine can provide resistance over a full range of isolated lumbar motion (72 degrees), or over a selected limited range. In exercise mode, a compound weight stack provides from 10 to 400 foot pounds in increments of one foot pound.
