"But We've Always Done It That Way"

✅Easily the number one reason people approach things the way they do and also the number one reason they don’t understand why there is no progress despite “working hard.” ✅Changing your mind is difficulty even when the evidence disputing your belief is overwhelming. ✅Random “hard workouts” are not the goal. They are at best a waste of time and at worst detrimental. There must be a strategic progression from session to session. In other words, each workout must build off the previous one to see progress. ✅Counting reps is also largely a waste of time. It not only distracts you from the internal focus of the exercise, but it also encourages you to rush to a predetermined arbitrary number, which was not the goal. ✅”Core” is merely a made up marketing term. Most of the popular “core” exercises involves very little trunk and spine challenge and rarely gets you stronger in the positions you need it most. Your trainer’s passion for them also has no bearing on how effective they are. Neither does whether they have a good personality. They are often just as blinded by an industry who has “always done it that way,” which is more invested in selling certifications than teaching exercise mechanics based on anatomy and physics. ✅Stretching is not required to be flexible and in many cases should be avoided. ✅And NO NO soreness and sweating are not indicators of effectiveness. Far from it. They have no bearing whatsoever on the value of your workout. ✅”All great thinkers are initially ridiculed” - Robin Sharma ✅”Nothing threatens a corrupt system more than a feee mind” - Suzy Kassem ✅”Who said ‘great minds think alike”-Cardin Norton ✅ “Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” - George Bernard Shaw ✅“A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.” Max Planck ✅”At every crossroads on the path that leads to the future, tradition has placed 10,000 men to guard the past.” - Maurice Maeterlinck
